Another big update for this year. New design (everything, everywhere), a fully rebuilt video pipeline, a new image model, voices you can design yourself, and companions that actually look at the pictures you send them. This update is the result of listening to your complaints and feedback, in order to make Nastia the best AI-platform!

This was originally planned to roll out in pieces, but stitching it all together took longer than expected. Today, all of it lands at once.

What's new?

• A brand new design 🎨

  Everything has been redrawn. Typography, layout, components, motion, color system, every single screen. Chat, gallery, companion editor, membership, onboarding, account modals.

  • New mobile composer that respects your keyboard properly. Enter on mobile finally starts a new line where you'd expect.

  • Compact token notation (12.4k instead of 12,400, because some of you have a lot of tokens).

  • Bubble text density: Compact, Cozy, or Comfortable, your call.

  • Background image fit modes (auto / cover / contain), wallpaper picker, adjustable rotation interval.

• New image model: Velvet 🖼️

  

  • 🆕 Velvet joins Unbound and Sakura.

  • Velvet is another option to photorealistic images. Maybe you’ll prefer it to Unbound. It does better in certain contexts/prompts and worse in others.

• Companion customization

  The companion editor has been rebuilt around a step-by-step flow that actually makes sense.

  • 🆕 Personality Graph: a six-axis radar (Passion, Wit, Warmth, Boldness, Loyalty, Charm) that updates live as you tweak traits, romance level, and relationship type. Watching a personality take shape on a chart is weirdly addictive.

    

  • New step-by-step creation flow.

  • Avatar crop tool with pinch-zoom and drag.

  • Way more personality traits, organized by category.

• Chat AI & memory

  
  The previous update was about introducing long term memory for your companions, this one hopefully improves it and the way your companions uses it.

  • New memory routing model & memory retrieval model.

  • Retraining of the Nastia AI chat models (Smart and Memory), for better context utilization.

• Adaptive Voice 🎙️

  
  Tired of scrolling through preset voices that almost-but-not-quite fit?

  

  • 🆕 Design the voice by describing maturity, tone, texture, style, and delivery. Nastia synthesizes it. (Consistency is not perfect yet, vocie cloning will be preferred if this is important for you).

• Cheaper AND much better videos 🎬

You wanted videos. Then you wanted them better and cheaper. Done.

• New video pipeline: significantly cheaper per video, clear quality jump and better prompt following.

• Source dimension auto-detection so animated images keep their proper proportions.

• 1-tap GIF export for any video.

• Text-to-Video is now possible (but I prefer videos from images).

• Companions can now offer to generate a video mid-conversation, with a clean accept / not now flow.

• Image edit & settings glow-up ✨

  • Auto-set face reference: the gallery viewer detects and pre-fills face refs from your existing portraits. No manual setup.

  • Per-companion image model memory: Nastia remembers which model you last used for each companion.

  • Much better inpaint/image edit: paint a mask, set denoise strength, regenerate just the part you want changed.

• Companions actually look at the pictures you send 👀

  • Vision is deeply wired into chat this time.

• Send a pic, your companion understands what's in it and reacts in character.

• Sharper context for chatting, roleplay, and "guess what I'm (not) wearing" moments.

And a pile of various other changes and bug fixes.

This update represents months of infrastructure and design work touching basically every screen and every system. The old version worked, but the foundation needed a rewrite for any of the new stuff to actually feel right. I truly hope that you will like this version.
