Ability to edit my own message to have it auto delete and resubmit my message

I definitely need to edit my messages often. Either from a mistake or the need to add more info to get closer to the reaction:context needed. But, it is a pain, I need to copy my text, delete my message, then paste into a new message, then I can edit and submit.

Something like a pencil icon next to or on the other side of the delete icon would just be a nice convenience function.
